Missing Bond In Families - Ways to improve family bonding
Wednesday, July 22, 2015 | 8:06 PM | 0 comments

What is the first thing
that comes to mind when "family" is being mentioned?

A family spending quality together, or one whereby everyone is on his/her gadget, too busy to even utter a word?

VS

Are you like the sisters choosing their mobile devices over having a drink with each other, or like the family enjoying a meal together?

You know the answer.

~

Technology is all around us these days, and we are too engrossed with our phones and tablets.

Research has shown that families only spend an average of 8 hours together per week. They are either trying to meet the demands of their daily hectic schedules, or simply being too consumed by technology.

Here are some reasons why families are not getting enough quality time together.

Don't you think that you are missing out on family togetherness at home?
Don't you wish to have a short family time daily?
Don't you ...

~

Here are some suggestions to improve your communication gaps!

1. Plan a holiday

In fact, 65 per cent of families go on holidays just to have some quality time together.
However, once they are back to the comfort of their own home, the distance begins all over again.

2. Go out for a meal twice every week

Let someone choose the place.
This place must not be repeated until you've really run out of places to choose.

3. Create a small Tatami area to reinforce family bonding

You can drop by our showroom @ East Coast Road to have a clearer idea of our handcrafted Tatami platform concepts & foldable mobile furnishings.

Take some time off your devices to have a family bonding session at your very own Tatami cozy corner.
Set a rule to spend at least 30 minutes on your Tatami area every day.
Play a game or watch the television together.

"Creating a lifetime and intangible family value is important."
